Description
Hydraulic/ Pneumatic Scissors lift works on a basic principle of Pascal’s law.
Pascal’s Law states that: a pressure change at any point in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted throughout the fluid such that the same change occurs everywhere.
The hydraulic lift is operated by fluid pressure. The fluids exert an equal force in every direction. To go up, a pump pushes fluid into the cylinder, pushing the piston up (which pushes the lift up). To go down, the valve opens and fluid is pulled back ,pushing the piston down ( which pulls the lift down)
